Harem pants, which originated in India are very loose fitting with the crotch hanging down sometimes as far as the knees giving the impression of a skirt, but then they taper in at the ankle giving a very attractive effect. Belly dancing skirts are often quite risqué, but this does not have to be the case, because you can opt for a full skirt if you prefer. I must state though that in looking at pictures of traditional belly dancers you will find that more often than not they do not have a flat belly and there are plenty of men out there who find a woman’s belly to be quite attractive, so don’t be too critical of your figure.
